The official Twitter for Windows Phone app has received important update which brings in the most important and much needed notification to the app. Twitter for Windows Phone has moved on to version 1.5 with this update and has also come up with the new Twitter Blue Bird and many other Bug fixes.
The following options are added into this updated Notification area:
- Mentions - Off, From people you follow, From anyone
- Favorited - Off, From people you follow, From anyone
- Retweets - Off, From people you follow, From anyone
- Direct messages
- New followers
These instant notifications are push enabled. They also support Live Tiles where the latest mentions from any user on the homescreen are shown.
