
Motorola has started releasing out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Xoom Wi-Fi tablets. The update has been finally pushed out after testing the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean JRO03H build with the members of Motorola Feedback Network. The new Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update brings improved user interface and is very responsive. We are thankful to Google's Project Butter which aims at improvising the basic Android experience. For the tablets Google search has been redesigned and will arrive with a new look. Widgets have been optimized for customization and self-resizing in the Andriod 4.1.
Gallery app has been adjusted for simpler photo viewing and you can also quickly share the same with others via email or social networks. Another feature is improved keyboard that makes text input faster by smartly predicting your next word and the text to speech works even without data connection.
The tablet features voice search which will allow you search better by using your voice and setting your hands free. Major improvement has been made to Notifications tray that now shows expanded view of the notifications. The Jelly Bean update is being pushed out for Motorola Xoom WiFi models. First of all connect the tablet to a WiFi network and then check for updates from Settings>about. Till now there is no information about the Android 4.1 JB update for the 3G and 4G version of the XOOM tablet.
