
Users of Windows Mobile operating system based devices will no longer be able to get access to applications from the Microsoft application store.
Software giant, Microsoft announced that going forward mobile devices with Microsoft Windows operating system will face new constraints as far as access to applications is concerned. As per Microsoft the changes have made to benefit the users. Now this changed policy will bring new challenges for the users with older version of Windows OS as going forth they will not be able access applications from the Microsoft application store. So the only solution lest for them is to update the version of their operating system. It is crucial that users upgrade their mobile operating systems in order to improve the security aspect of the marketplace, as reported by Microsoft.
Microsoft had come out with Windows Phone 7 in 2010 for its Smartphone’s to replace its older Windows Mobile operating system. The company has also revealed that it will be launching its new Windows 8 OS and will be used for PC’s tablets and Smartphone’s.
