Due to the adoption of Apple's very own homegrown maps in the upcoming iOS6, Apple disclosed that it will be doing away with the Google Maps. But following the release of the iOS 6 beta to the developers, it has been seen that not just Google Maps but the YouTube application that was always present there for iOS will also be missing from the final version of the operating system. The reason Apple has cited for this is the "expiration of license with Google". As stated by Apple, the iPhone maker "Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store." These benefits will be available to the older devices running the iOS 5 but it will not be available on iOS 6.
Soon after the launch Apple iOS 6 users will be getting the YouTube services as a part of the standalone application that will be made available for the users. As stated by Google "We are working with Apple to ensure we have the best possible YouTube experience for iOS users."
