Last week Windows phone lovers had a good time, thanks to Apple’s virtual personal assistant, Siri. This all happened when an iPhone 4S user asked Siri, “Which was the best cell phone ever?” The answer was very interesting as it stated that Nokia Lumia 900 with Windows OS is the best phone.
Now when anyone asks Siri about the best phone, instead of saying Nokia Lumia 900, it says humorously the one you are holding right now.
Siri’s information is used was based on an external service called Wolfram Alpha. But as of now everything has changed and thanks to Apple. If you search Wolfram Alpha, it’ll still return you as Nokia Lumia 900 as the result to the best Smartphone ever.
It was very quick on Apple’s part that it changed Siri’s results. On the other side Nokia assumed that Apple was not happy at all by the answer given by Siri. As told by Tracy Postill to The SMH, “Apple position Siri as the intelligent system that's there to help, but clearly if they don't like the answer, they override the software.” Not so cool!
