Sony Mobile is now reportedly working to roll out full wireless support for the DualShock 3 game controller to its Xperia Smartphone’s after launching many PlayStation certified devices. The Xperia Blog uploaded images of the menu options to connect the DualShock 3 controller in one of the upcoming Xperia Smartphone’s. This will be a local support that is without any middleware or need to install any application.  Users can enjoy the PlayStation certified games on the Smartphone by using the controller to perform the different control actions after connecting the game controller with the Xperia Smartphone.

The forthcoming Sony Xperia SP Smartphone will have a special feature in the settings menu. The PlayStation DualShock 3 game controller has to be connected with the Xperia device using USB on-the-go cable for the first time to allow physical pairing. The game controller can be connected with the Xperia SP Smartphone via Bluetooth by pressing the PlayStation button once both are paired. The game controller can be used as a physical controller for the games on the Xperia Smartphones. There is no information that whether the PlayStation DualShock 3 game controller pairing support will be allowed for 2013 Xperia Smartphone’s via update or not.

by Kulbir Kaur 25. March 2013 14:30

After the furor in the market that Xperia Z is dying mysteriously, Sony has released an update for it. This update will just fix the sudden death issue and has no additional features for the device whatsoever. To quickly download and install the update on the user's devices the size of the patch file has also been kept on lower side.

As Xperia Z has non-removable battery, the troubles compounded further for the users. The handsets which have the removable battery can easily deal with this kind of issue by just taking out the battery to make it work. Lets hope that this new update will save many Xperia X devices.

In the meantime, the new Sony Xperia Z update has been released out over the air for global users and a same will be coming to user's device in the form of notification as and when the upgrade fix is made available in the region.
