Mobile High Definition Link is a feature of Smartphones. This feature is similar to HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) which allows a Smartphone to share Audio/Video and play games on HD TVs and displays.

However, it is different from HDMI because it doesn’t need any separate port to plug the cable and the Smartphone is also charged while connected.

A few phones to sport this feature are Galaxy S II, HTC Sensation XE, and LG Nitro HD.

by jasmeet 3. September 2012 16:10

The most cheapest  Windows smartphone is  Nokia Lumia 610 because of its  lower RAM and processor . Nokia is also working on a successor of the Lumia 610. According to the sources Smartphone is already under testing which is code-named as ‘Glory’. This phone is  expected to be running on the upcoming Windows Phone 7.8 update .

Device Specification;
• 4 inch screen
• 800 MHz processor
• 256 MB RAM

The manufacturer has  to keep the device in the low-end range and  bring the ‘Glory’ over the Windows Phone 7.8 OS only.  This could be a nice move as the new device is unveiled on the older OS, then it could be useful for the app ecosystem to survive for a longer period. ‘Glory’  is expected to be available in the market before the end of the year but it might not be revealed at the upcoming September 5 event where the Finnish giant is set to declared the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 running on Windows Phone 8.

Battery Dr

On Android Smartphone’s, running applications consume more power.  Battery Dr. estimates the amount of power consumed by individual applications, so that its gives a clear picture to users about what is going on inside their Android Smartphone or Tablet and the reason for battery drainage.
Once the users come to know about that application which consumes maximum battery it is easy to uninstall it or look for an alternative app. If these options are not available then users can easily kill that particular application when it is not in use. This application also provides estimates on remaining battery life, which can give a fair idea to users about how much longer they can use the device for in order to allow them to prioritize tasks. So that users do not miss those important calls.
