Apple iPad fifth generation coming in March 2013: Report

In the month of March 2013, Apple is expected to unveil the fifth generation iPad tablet which will carry iPad Mini inspired design. According to the Japanese Mac Blog MacOtakara report," Apple is planning to launch fifth generation iPad tablet in the month of March next year".
Everyone is surprised to see that Apple suddenly dropping the third generation iPad tablet and replaced it with the fourth generation iPad tablet. The difference rested in the Apple A6X mobile processor and the Lightning port. The fourth generation of iPad is comparatively faster than its predecessor.
As per the reports," Those users who bought the 4th generation iPad will rue as the next version is definitely carry a more powerful and faster processor inside. Although, we are not sure what's in store on the display front from Apple". Yet there is no information about the hardware specifications and we believe that the iOS 7 will be shown at the next Global Developers Conference 2013 in the mid of the next year.

Google Maps application now available for iOS

Google has unveiled a separate Google Maps app for the Apple iOS devices. The Google Maps arrives with turn by turn based navigation, transit and even Street View features in it. Users can easily get this Google Maps app for their iOS from the Apple App Store and it is available for the recent models of the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices.
The map arrives with smooth 2D and 3D vies with nice vector-based graphics. At the top of the app there is a search box which permits searching a location quickly through the Google local search. When users sign-in, app syncs all their saved searches, places, and routes on the Maps app. The app also incorporates Google Street View to allow the users enjoy 360-degree tour of famous cities of the world.
Google Maps App first version will work for iOS 5.1 or higher running iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPod touch and iPad.

Apple opens doors of iTunes Store for Indians

The maker of iPhone and iPad devices, Apple, has now opened up its iTunes Store for Indians. Through its iTunes software, users can now buy music, movies and books from the Apple application store which is available for most of its devices. Till now iPhone, iPad and iPod devices based users were not able to use iTunes Store in India. But with this new update, India is now part of 119 countries where the Apple app store is available for a long time. Previously, Indian users could only purchase apps from the store and that too they had to pay in dollars but now they can not only purchase books, music and even movies. Now they can also pay it in India currency. Apple declared on its iTunes India store,  "The iTunes Store has arrived. Now you can shop at the world's No.1 music store. Which means you can browse and buy songs, albums and films anytime you want". The iTunes Store for India arrives with excess of content in terms of music, movies and books. Users can either listen or download songs, movies of desi actors and singers. For instance, Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger is now available for purchase for Rs 290 while you can purchase most of the songs for Rs 12 each.

Facebook app for iPhone, iPad gets an update

Facebook, popular social network has pushed out another update for its official app on the Apple iOS platform. This new update for the iOS devices allows better messaging experience. It can also share multiple photos quickly.
Users can get this new Facebook app for iPhone and iPad from the Apple App store. This update brings some of new improvements to the app. Users can now quickly share multiple images with their friends, with the new Facebook 5.1 update. Favourites list can now be modified by adding the name of the friends; you message the most, to that list. The user can also swipe left anywhere in the app to display the contacts available for instant messaging chat. Also the new messaging window displays if the contact is active or not.

How to set up home sharing to watch videos on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

The major concern for consumers these days is the storage space on the Smartphone. The current on-board storage options 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB somehow is not sufficient for the multimedia buffs. Every time users do not want to take the pains of transferring new multimedia to iOS based iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. For this Apple offers the Home Sharing feature to save you from the pains. With helps of this feature, users can access all the multimedia files in the iTunes Library of your PC or Mac directly on your iOS based device over a wireless network. No transfer required. Users just need to use their Apple Account credentials to link the iOS device with the iTunes Library on desktop and enjoy the entire music/video collection sitting at any corner of their house.

Below are the simple steps to set up Home Sharing on your iOS device and iTunes on Mac or PC:
• Open iTunes and click on the Home Sharing Tab located under the SHARED tab on the left-side column.
• Enter your Apple ID and Password to initiate Home Sharing on that computer. The iTunes will show a status message when you successfully authorize your computer.
• On your iOS Device, Go to Settings app and choose either Music or Videos whichever you wish to stream from the iTunes Library on the PC or Mac. Under the Home Sharing option at the bottom, add your Apple Account Credentials
• Open the Music or Videos app and select the Shared option (House icon). It will show you then show you two options - My iPhone/iPad/iPod touch and the Desktop iTunes Library option. Select the Desktop iTunes Library option and it will sync all files to your iOS device. Then simply press back and enjoy the music and the videos directly on your iOS device.
