Mujjo launches capacitive leather gloves for touchscreen devices

by Munish 30. November 2012 14:30

Mujjo, a Dutch mobile accessories brand, has announced leather gloves that can operate touchscreen mobile phones. It is the first company to come up with pure leather gloves for touchscreen.
While these gloves protect the users from cold weather, they can operate capacitive touchscreen devices. Technically, the capacitive touchscreen works on electrical conductivity. Since our skin is a good conductor of electricity, everytime we touch a touchscreen with bare hands, an electric current is sent to the area on the device that is touched. These leather gloves are manufactured using nanotechnology conductive signals that help users to operate a touchscreen.
The Mujjo leather touchscreen gloves are manufactured using Ethiopian lambskin leather that offers excellent thermal insulation, while at the same time conducting electrical impulses. The leather has been treated to make it water and dust resistant, and offers anti-microbial properties too. The gloves are available in India and can be ordered directly from Mujjo's online store. Users will be able to buy them for Rs 9,300, which is a bit high, but for the comfort it offers, many users will definitely like this product.

November 26
by kashyap 26. November 2012 16:30

While acknowledging media reports that there is a LTE chip inside the Nexus 4, LG has now made it clear that the chip is not functional. The South Korean handset giant explained, "In order to provide the best possible specification for Nexus 4, LG utilised the same powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset as can be found in its 4G LTE product, namely LG Optimus G. This powerful chipset is only available with a combined processor and modem and cannot be implemented separately".
As per the Canada users report , "Many Nexus 4 users have been able to get the LTE chip in the device up and running on the available Canadian LTE networks. So the bottom-line here is that the Nexus 4 has got the LTE chip as a part of the hardware and it is fully functional".
Device Specification of Nexus 4:
• Quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 Krait mobile processor
• New Adreno 320 graphics chip
• 2 GB RAM
• 3D graphics
• Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update
• 8 megapixel camera

It is expected that LG will introduce the Nexus 4 in India next month itself following which users will also get a chance to lay their hands on the new device and probably figure out a few tricks of their own to get the LTE chip up and running.

iPhone 5S to arrive soon

After the launch of iPhone5, Apple has reportedly started working on the next iPhone model. As per the report of China based Commercial Times, "Facing low yield rates in the production of iPhone 5, Apple has accelerated the certification processes for related parts and components for the iPhone 5S." This becomes very essential considering the problems that Apple had to face owing to the slower production rate for the iPhone 5.
From the next month Apple is expected to begin the trial production of the Apple iPhone 5S with the production capacity nearing about 50,000 to 1 lakh units for the initial phase. After the trial period devices will be made available for the users.
