Galaxy Grand have zero shutter-lag and ultra-quick camera start-up. This new phone also arrives with a backside illumination sensor for better results in dark conditions as well as full HD video recording capability. There is also a 2 megapixel camera up front for video calling. In this handset, there is a 'Direct Call' feature that allows users to automatically dial a call by raising the device up to the ear; while users can also shake the phone to trigger status updates, or pan it to zoom into a screen.

Galaxy Grand is pre-loaded with the latest versions of Samsung Hubs to deliver the most famous games, movies and music direct to the user on demand.
The phone will augment the mid range of Samsung Galaxy series and will also provide an option to people who want big screen device without spending big sum on purchasing the Galaxy Note II, and also don't want to go for the inexpensive options from the Indian brands.
