With this new version 6.1 changes have been done to the Transit Lines layer permitting users to choose a specific mode of public transportation like train, bus, tram, or subway while hiding the other modes. It is available in 500 cities worldwide, in India with the help of this update you can check the schedules pertaining to the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation Ltd, Chennai MRTS, Delhi Metro Rail, and Kolkata Metro, along with the common directions. To check the schedule users just need to tap on the train \ bus station icon on the map and then click on the place's name.
Other features comprise of My Places and Location History sections of the app. While searching for a location within a city or through a postal code, the borders of that region will be highlighted. However My Places section features not only allow users to access search history but it also saves maps for offline use. When users provide explicit information to track their location, the Location History section keeps a check on places you have been to on a daily basis as a handy reckoner of sorts
