LG releases new interface for Optimus phones

LG has introduced a customized user-interface for its Android 4.0 based Otimus Smartphones. LG’s new version of UI 3.0 is all set to bring new features and improvements. LG plans to implement the new UI 3.0 in the upcoming Optimus LTE II and Optimus 4X HD Smartphone as well.
With other new features LG Optimus 3.0 has a very new feature named as Quick Memo. This new feature will help the users to write/scribble text on the phone’s home screen in case of any emergencies. Quick Memo also allows user to share that same text over social networks, e-mails and even text messages.
LG’s new UI will allow users to unlock their home screen by swiping in any direction. The company has gone a step ahead and presented a new style of usual pattern lock which will facilitate users to set a custom app that that automatically opens once the phone screen is unlocked.
New UI also includes a user voice driven feature called Voice Shutter that takes images only based on user's voice commands.  LG Optimus UI 3.0 finally tries to compete with Samsung's TouchWiz UI and HTC's Sense UI. However, we wait to see the Optimus series Smartphones with Optimus UI 3.0 hitting markets to make a call whether this UI nails it or not.
