
According to Wall Street Journal, Google is developing another version of Android, its open source mobile operating system. The new version being developed is 5.0 and known as Jellybean. The journal also mentioned that Jellybean compatible devices will be available by the year end.
Android 4.0 is the latest version of the world largest mobile operating system as of now. Only very few devices are equipped with this Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Google has not announced the official launch of Android 5.0 Jellybean. It will announce the launch in its annual I/O developer conference which is going to held in June this year. Since the company has not told more about its features, but it expected to bring Chrome browser integration, better enterprise security related features, and a voice assistance feature similar to SIRI of iOS. Google has followed the alphabetic order in naming and launching their Android OS which are named on deserts like Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich and now Jellybean followed by Key Lime Pie.
