Facebook announces App Center, will host free as well as paid apps

Facebook has declared that it will soon be launching Application Center. This application will contain all the applications and games that you currently enjoy on Facebook. It is one stop shop for all your applications where you will have paid applications and games which was missing from Facebook earlier. It will roll out in few weeks and will be available from the web, as well as the iOS and Android version. Ratings will be used to list the applications at the store. If any apps get poor rating it will not be rated at all.  Application list will be different for everyone according to what you rate and which apps you use. Developers need to create detail page for their apps. Facebook App Center will be a competitor to Google’s Chrome Web Store more than the App Store or Play Store. As Facebook has already 900 million user base so the Facebook application center will not have any problem in getting popular.
