Nokia has announced that the latest version of its Symbian OS, the Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 will be rolled out for all its existing handsets. A few days ago, the new software debuted on company's new imaging flagship product, the 808 PureView.
Reportedly, the new software will improve user experience with the help of newly designed widgets, revamped multitasking bar, HTML5 browser, and Dolby Digital Plus support. According to the Finns, 701, 700, and 603 will receive the update. However, N8 and its family (E7, X7, C7, and 500) will not be eligible for this update because of their modest 600 MHz CPU. The users of Nokia 700 and 701 have another surprise in the offing. The latest update will bump up CPU speed for these handsets from 1 GHz to 1.3 GHz. However, the upgrade for Nokia 603 will not up its CPU clock speed. Therefore expect your handsets to handle stuff smoother and be more responsive.
